RMUN 2011 & X Men: First Class ♥

On 1 June to 3 June 2011, HISSOC organised our very prestigious annual Raffles Model United Nations (RMUN)! :D
This will mark my 3rd time being in the event, which is very fun.
And I feel it's the
highlight of my JC life (:
It's just too amazing an event to be missed!
Okay so this year I'm the Assistant Director in General Assembly 1.
Along with me are my comrades Yufei, Cheryl and Rohan! :D
They're like so awesome people, I SERIOUSLY WANNA CHAIR WITH THEM NEXT YEAR HAHAHAHAHHA!!! :D
And we also have our awesome Directors Ren Jie, Cheryl Seah, Cheryl Fong and Brandon! (:
They're such great Chairs, seriously so cool!
Okay, the whole event is just too fun to be written in words.
I mean, I'm the note passer as well, but Yufei and I kept talking to the delegates.
So it was all fun and interaction as well.
Oh, and Desmond from CHS represented France! Hahaha nice to see a familiar face (:

So RCHN had an outing yesterday, and we went to NEXXX to watch X Men: First Class.
It's AN AWESOME MOVIE OMGGG.
I'll rate it a 4.8/5 stars (:
The good guys... well most of them.
Not only were there loads of superpowers and crazy mutant abilities, there were familiar faces in the cast of the show!
Surprise surprise, because the cast starred many well-known actors.
I'll just name 2 of my favourites (:
1) LUCAS TILL as Havok
Okay, I can't find many nice pictures of him, but here it goes!
Lucas Till played Havoc, the laser-shooting&spinning guy in this show.
The effects were awesome, and he kinda reminded me of Cyclops as well.
Where might you have seen him?
He acted in Hannah Montana: The Movie as the main guy/love of Miley Cyrus!
And also more famously, the guy in Taylor Swift's You Belong With Me music video.
He seems kinda country to me, but this metallic part of him is a nice welcome!
2) Nicholas Hoult as Beast
The geeky guy whom I thought seemed familiar.
Then only halfway in the show when epiphany slapped me in the face.
Nicholas may not be as well-known here in Singapore as his shows aren't really officially aired here, but I guess people like me who depend more on YouTube than MediaCorp will know him.
If you have forgotten, he acted in Skins! :D:D:D:D:D
THE MOST AWESOME TV SHOW ON EARTH MUAHAHHAHHAA.
For teenagers. Strictly teenagers.
He plays Nate in Skins Season 1 & 2, and only the original UK version.
This time, he plays the blue Beast in X Men, and it's not all just brawn and muscles, the geeky side of him plays out with a tinge of romance.
Well, until Mystique bails out for Magneto. (USELESS SPOILER, but you already read it :P)__________________________________________
You know, everyone wishes they have their own superpowers.
If I can be an X Men of any kind, Mystique is my favourite.
I just love the thought of shapeshifting into anyone I like.
Ain't that cool? :D
